About Me

Matthew Aylen MSc, BA (Hons)

I am a life and business coach, positive psychologist and mindfulness teacher. I am the founder of Grow, having successfully completed a Masters degree (MSc) in Applied Positive Psychology & Coaching Psychology. I consider my talent to be enabling others. I do this through coaching, and I am truly passionate about becoming a thinking partner for others and helping them to find increased levels of meaning and purpose in their lives. A certified mindfulness teacher and trainer, I also run mindfulness workshops in the Bedfordshire area, and work for a number of charities as a coach, mentor and tutor.

I have been working in career consultancy, recruitment and coaching since 2006. Until 2015, I was Regional Director for a recruitment business, training and coaching teams. Over more than 10 years, I have helped many people succeed in developing their careers as well as many well known global businesses build and retain their talented teams. My previous clients have included Amazon, Barclays, Whittards, McCann Erickson and many more well respected businesses across construction, finance, healthcare, marketing and advertising, market research, IT, digital & technology and tourism. I was interviewed numerous times by one of the largest media companies in the world on how to conduct a successful interviews, hunt for the perfect job and much more.

I am based in my childhood town of Bedford, but commute to London weekly for coaching sessions, and can also consider meeting people face to face in Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire. Coaching sessions via Skype is also possible.
